The Fuji Electric V810SD-U700 is a high-performance 10.4-inch HMI from the Monitouch V8 Series. The Hakko Electronics V8 series was a staple of industrial automation.

Connectivity & Communication

• CN1 (D-Sub 9-pin): Supports RS-232C and RS-422/485. This is typically used for the primary PLC connection.
• MJ1 / MJ2 (Modular 8-pin): Two additional serial ports (RS-232C/RS-485).
• USB Ports: For connecting USB sticks (data logging/transfer) or a keyboard/mouse.
• Expansion Slot: Used for optional units like Ethernet cards (CU−03−3), Fieldbus modules (Profibus, Device Net), or video input cards.

Software & Programming

• Software Version: V-SFT version 5 (legacy) or V-SFT version 6 (current).
• Migration: If  V-SFT 6 can open your old V8 project files and convert them for use in the newer V9 or V10 hardware.

Lifecycle & Replacement

• Direct Successor: The V9100iSD is the primary replacement. It uses the same panel cutout (289.0×216.2 mm), so no mechanical modifications to your cabinet are required.
• Modern Alternative: The V1010 series is the latest generation, offering 16.7 million colors and significantly better processing speeds.
• Conversion: Use V-SFT 6 to perform a “Model Change” on your existing program to migrate the screens to the newer series.
