    Pilz Safety relay PNOZ s4.1

    The Pilz PNOZ s4.1 (750124) is a high-performance safety relay from the PNOZsigma series. It is designed for monitoring E-stop buttons, safety gates, and light curtains. Its hallmark is its slim design (only 22.5 mm wide) and high degree of flexibility through its front-facing rotary switch.

    Primary Input/Output Terminals

    Common Wiring Configuration (Dual Channel)

    • Input 1: Wire the E-Stop contact 1 between S11 and S12.
    • Input 2: Wire the E-Stop contact 2 between S21 and S22.
    • Start: Wire a momentary N/O push button between S11 and S34.
    • Feedback Loop: If monitoring external contactors (EDM), wire their N/C auxiliary contacts in series with the Start button.
